The ZH420 is one of the most compact and straightforward Full HD 1080p DuraCore laser projectors Optoma has ever introduced. Designed for maintenance-free, continuous operation, it delivers powerful image performance with flexible installation features and extensive connectivity in a sleek, compact form factor that's up to 34% smaller than previous Optoma models.¹
To support Optoma's commitment to sustainability, the ZH420 reduces power consumption by up to 45% compared to Optoma's lamp-based projectors.² Energy-saving DuraCore laser technology ensures a long product life of up to 30,000 hours without the need for additional lamps, requires minimal maintenance, and is mercury-free, further reducing the carbon footprint.
An additional advantage is that the ZH420 has an external power supply, which offers greater reliability, mobility and energy efficiency.
The environmentally friendly housing design is made from 50% PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic, and the packaging contains up to 97% recyclable materials.³ Furthermore, the compact product and packaging size of the Optoma ZH420 projector allows for the transport of 2x more products per container, resulting in more efficient logistics and contributing to a further reduction in carbon emissions.¹
Suitable for conference rooms, boardrooms, and other corporate spaces, the ZH420 features a 1.3x zoom for flexible setup. For ultimate convenience, it features an RS232 port for monitoring and control, as well as a built-in speaker.

Laser technology
Optoma laser projectors use only high-quality laser technology to project the best possible image. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser projectors can be twice that of a conventional lamp model. They also provide greater efficiency to ensure consistent brightness. Furthermore, they offer superior color performance, instant on/off, and an exceptional lifespan of up to 20,000 hours.

HDR and HLG compatible

24/7 Operation - The standard lamp warranty applies. The projector warranty is based on standard usage within a typical business day. For optimal performance, we recommend turning the projector off or on standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the lamp life.
Automatic shutdown function
The projector may be on even when not in use. To save energy in these cases, the auto-off function ensures that the projector shuts down after a preset time.
