The PointWrite™ Kit PW40U works on any projection surface – without the need for expensive digital whiteboards or additional equipment. With the PW40U, images can be projected onto the surface of tables, significantly promoting interactive collaboration among students on a shared project. The PointWrite™ Kit offers countless new possibilities for interactive and collaborative teaching in the digital classroom.

Dual screen with numerous touch functions

BenQ's Dual Screen feature allows teachers to create immersive learning experiences across two projection screens. To create a scalable, future-proof, and interactive classroom, the entire system can also be connected to PointWrite™ Touch* and the accompanying PointWrite™ infrared pen. QWrite™** controls all multi-touch functions supported by Windows 7 and newer operating systems. The multi-touch function takes student collaboration to a new level; they learn with audiovisual content, can take notes simultaneously, and use the new technology completely intuitively.

Intuitive setup

Setting up PointWrite™ in three easy steps

1.Connect the PointWrite™ Kit PW40U (60fps infrared camera) to the projector.

2.Connect the projector to a computer via a USB cable, run the PointWrite™ setup, and begin automatic calibration.

3.The ultra-fast response time of the QWrite™ software of only 16ms in combination with the PointWrite™ pen and touch module enables smooth writing on any projection surface.

Reliable auto-calibration with user-friendly configuration interface

The BenQ L890UST series supports the PointWrite™ PW40U kit, allowing for fully automatic and straightforward configuration via a clear user interface. The interactive sensor also guarantees highly reliable auto-calibration in well-lit rooms without interference.

Smooth interactive teaching without driver installation

The PointWrite™ kit installs its driver exactly once for initial system calibration, making it fully operational. After the initial setup, the user has access to the full range of functions via plug & play, without the need for prior driver installation. This allows teachers to begin interactive lessons at any time and without delay.

Advanced performance even with light interference

The PointWrite™ Kit PW40U guarantees strong and significantly improved performance even in the presence of light interference. Integrated infrared technology constantly ensures optimal lighting conditions for projection, both in well-lit rooms and in natural sunlight, so that both pen mode and finger mode* remain completely unaffected.

Windows Gesture Support
