The BenQ InstaShow® WDC10 is a hardware solution that allows multiple presenters to present using any input device via plug-and-play, without the need to install or run any drivers. Furthermore, hardware or system compatibility issues are eliminated.*
*The only compatibility requirement is USB/HDMI ports on the source laptop and HDMI input on the display device.
InstaShow® significantly increases the efficiency and dynamics of collaboration by providing up to sixteen presenters with a simple and intuitive way to present, eliminating waiting and wasting valuable meeting time. With no software to install or update, and no compatibility issues to encounter, InstaShow requires no IT support.
Connecting the InstaShow® transmitter button to a receiver is just as easy. For automatic, wireless pairing, simply point the pairing key at the receiver for 5 seconds and repeat the process toward the transmitter. The receiver can even be put into pairing mode via web access if it's connected to a ceiling-mounted projector or is otherwise difficult to access.
The exclusive Video Mode feature optimizes InstaShow's audiovisual settings and allows you to instantly switch from presentation mode to smooth video mode with stereo sound, without IT support or complex software configuration. Switching to Video Mode delivers high-quality, smooth video transmission and playback. From now on, stuttering and freezing are a thing of the past.
With InstaShow®, users can present via any device with a standard HDMI input and USB port. This covers a wide range of devices, including notebooks, netbooks, Blu-ray or DVD players, and Apple TV. InstaShow® also offers an exclusive extended desktop mode for Windows and OS X, enabling presentation viewing on these devices as well.
AES 128-bit encryption and WPA2 authentication protocol ensure that company intellectual property remains protected and confidential, and cannot be tampered with or accidentally disseminated. The security handshake ensures seamless, wireless streaming of high-quality presentations. This allows presenters to share confidential information without worrying about security breaches during the presentation. InstaShow® also supports HDCP, ensuring all content with Digital Rights Management is played smoothly and without delays, error messages, or interruptions.
Using EDID, InstaShow® automatically configures the source laptop's settings to match the display device's resolution, ensuring pixel-perfect, crisp, and clear image quality from projectors, flat-panel displays, monitors, and TVs. InstaShow® users can focus on the meeting instead of fiddling with resolution settings, eliminating the need to contact IT support to adjust display timings.
InstaShow offers integrated hardware encoding and decoding, ensuring wireless presentation performance regardless of the capabilities of the source notebook's operating system.
Our exclusive automatic Wi-Fi channel selection and auto-reconnect functionality allow presenters to rely on InstaShow® without worrying about downtime or interruptions due to an unstable Wi-Fi connection. Equipped with high-performance 802.11ac Wi-Fi up to 400 Mbps, InstaShow delivers seamless wireless streaming of 1080p Full HD content without lag, even under heavy wireless traffic.
Minimal input latency slows response times by less than 100%, allowing for natural, precise mouse movements and smooth PowerPoint animations or the transmission of professional presentation media. Presenters and participants can focus on a smooth meeting and intuitively follow critical content points.
In addition, InstaShow® can be configured to enter network standby mode if no source activity is detected within a user-defined time period. This cuts off HDMI transmission and initiates sleep mode for connected displays, which simply turn back on when the presentation or meeting resumes. This reduces overall total cost of ownership not only through energy savings but also by extending the lifespan of the InstaShow® device and all displays in the meeting room, which also don't need to run unnecessarily. In fact, 50% of the displays' power consumption* can be saved by activating InstaShow®'s blank mode and using it with a BenQ projector.
