- Compatible with PointWrite, the interactive solution
The MX825STH produces a high brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens for excellent projection performance with clear images and clear text, even in bright classrooms. The high brightness ensures clear display of content in strong ambient light, so the lights can remain on during class for note-taking and interactive collaboration.
Ideal for text, numbers and tables commonly used in school lessons, BenQ educational projectors take advantage of native DLP technology with digitally controlled micromirrors on the DMD chip. By being able to completely turn off reflective micromirrors to create deep, true blacks, BenQ education projectors create a high native contrast ratio for good readability and crisp resolution at every single sub-pixel.
Thanks to the sealed design, which protects the DLP chip from dust-induced image degradation, and the industrial durability of DLP projection technology, BenQ projectors are able to maintain good image quality over the long term by preventing color degradation. Unlike non-DLP projectors, BenQ education projectors deliver high-quality image quality equivalent to that of new factory projectors after lamp replacement.
BenQ DLP projectors have an unsurpassed high fill factor in their class, which minimizes the dark edges around each pixel to avoid the "screen-door effect" commonly observed in non-DLP projectors. BenQ projectors produce superior quality and clarity for small text and fine details for excellently rendered images instead of pixelated graphics.
To meet the diverse demands of the classroom, BenQ education projectors feature a range of resolutions and projected image sizes. With crisp image quality up to 120 inches, BenQ's ultra-short-throw education projectors offer more versatility in the classroom at low cost.
With PointWrite™ technology, BenQ education projectors become collaborative platforms that transform any surface into an interactive whiteboard. The integration of the PointWrite™ kit and QWrite software with BenQ projectors fosters a collaborative learning environment where students and teachers can work together using intuitive tools.
The enhanced multi-touch capability allows two PointWrite™ projectors to be connected to double the interactive projection area. This creates enormous new possibilities for interactive learning in modern digital classrooms. In QWrite Whiteboard mode, teachers can run various applications or display, view and annotate across two surfaces.
PointWrite™ is reliable in all types of room lighting, automatically calibrates itself, and instantly saves its settings when plugged into a computer's USB port. PointWrite™ is ready for use without manual configuration or extensive training for teachers.
PointWrite™ projectors support intuitive Windows gestures. All multi-touch commands and gestures are supported for Windows 8 or higher and future applications. This includes zooming in and out or scrolling when browsing web pages, images or Google Maps.
With a short-throw ratio of 0.61 and a large screen at a short distance, the MX825STH eliminates distracting shadows and reflections, allowing students and teachers to move freely and collaborate in front of the board.
Press the "Quick Install" button on the remote control to set up the projector. This saves time and effort during the initial installation of the projector.
The MX825STH features color wheel sensors with a sophisticated anti-dust accumulation function that extends optimal performance by repelling dust that can accumulate on conventional sensors and block the IR signal. This prevents flickering, abnormal colors, or shutdown.
BenQ Education Projectors are compatible with Creston, AMX, and PJ Link control systems for convenient system integration with various third-party components and reduced cost through central maintenance of multiple projectors.
Enhanced multi-touch capability allows two PointWrite™ projectors to be used in conjunction to double the interactive projection surface, creating vast new opportunities for interactive learning in modern digital classrooms. Teachers can run various applications or display, view, and annotate across two monitors in QWrite Whiteboard Mode.
BenQ’s exclusive SmartEcoTM technology intelligently adjusts light output and perfects DLP's energy-saving capabilities to increase lamp life while maintaining brightness and detailed image quality. By reducing power consumption, SmartEcoTM extends lamp life to up to 15,000 hours, 3X* more than without SmartEcoTM technology.
To reduce overall power consumption by 70% when blanking the projection, Eco Blank Mode further boosts energy-saving capability by automatically dimming the lamp power.
*Lamp life in LampSave Mode is 3 times longer than in Normal Mode.
